If you love adventure and desire to explore the thrilling side of nature, then trekking in Kanchanjunga is for you. Here you will surely enjoy the trekking expedition. Lofty mountains, ethnic villages and a variety of flora are the striking features of the trek. Trekking was official allowed in this region by the Government of Nepal in 1998. The best to enjoy the trek is to travel to both Base Camp North Pangpema(5100m) and south Yalung(4800 m) from Nepal. Reach Biratnagar from Kathmandu by air and then drive to Basantapur and enjoy the trekking to Kanchanjunga North Base Camp. Then return to Taplejung taking the same route and flying back to Kathmandu. You can go for trekking in the south Yalung also but it will require a lot of time and energy to cover both the areas of the peak. You must have at least a month to enjoy both the treks. Anyways the pleasure of trekking to even one area of the peak is a fantastic experience which will get etched in your mind.
