Main Attractions Of Imphal Are:


Palace of Kangla: Located at the heart of Imphal are the ruins of the old Palace of Kangla.


Polo Ground: Imphal boasts of a Polo Ground which is the oldest existing polo ground in the world.


Manipur State Museum: It is a treasure house of old artefacts and other objects telling the history of Manipur.


Khwairamband Bazaar: It is a unique market where all shops are run by women. It is divided into two sections. From fruits to handlooms and handicrafts, a lot of things are available here.


Shaheed Minar: This structure is located in the heart of Imphal at Bir Tirkendrajit Park. It was built in the honour of Manipur's martyrs who sacrificed their life for independence.

Air: Imphal airport connects the town with Guwahati, Delhi and Kolkata.
Rail: The nearest airport is Dimapur which is 215 km from Imphal.
Road: Imphal can be easily accessed from Dimapur and Silchar by road.
