Daporizo Travel

Daporizo is a small place located in the upper Subansiri district. This lush green valley is surrounded by mountains. These mountains are not very high in height. The Craft Centre in Daporizo is the major tourist attraction of the place. Daporizo, the district headquarters and the chief trade center is occupied chiefly by Tangin and Hilmiri tribes. The people of these tribes are very fond of dressing. The men of these tribes have the front hair of their head tied in the form of a bun. Appealing cane ornaments and cane rings are used by the Hilmiri womenfolk to dress up their bodies.
